Can you believe it’s only 4 days until Christmas!?
I’m honestly in a bit of shock about that! I took a break from business sewing in December this year, and that was the best thing I’ve ever done. This month has flown by stress free and I’ve had time to really enjoy crafting for my own home and spending time with my family.
I wanted to share the Holiday projects I’ve been working on over the next few days.
Up first, is my Santa Pillow.
I found an adorable Santa pillow through Pinterest and knew I could make one myself. After finding the image I wanted, I used my Silhouette to cut a stencil.
My little girl picked out ‘sparkly’ red paint for us and we stenciled it onto natural linen.
I originally planned to just have a plain linen pillow, but I decided patchwork was more fun. I love how cheerful it turned out and it goes perfectly with the ‘candy cane’ ticking pillow I made last year.
Have you made anything special for the Holiday’s this year?
I just found out that the lovely Keyka Lou will be retiring 16 patterns on 1/1/2012. Those that are being discontinued are on sale now for $3.00 until the 1st.
Several that I’ve loved from afar were on the chopping block, so I snapped those suckers up! Look forward to seeing some Half-Moon, Lots of Pockets, Pixie and Small Satchel Handbags coming out of my sewing room soon, .

My Christmas wish is for more fabrics! I love this bag-so cute!
Yay! Congrats, Amy! I sent you an email just now.
Thank you all so much for participating. It was fun to read through each of your comments and check out your wishlist. Lots of Kindle Fires, Ipads, Kitchen Aid Mixers and of course FABRIC! And several ladies who’s sons were coming home from the Air Force for Christmas, I know your wishes have for sure come true!
All the best to each of you this Holiday season!
I can’t believe it’s time again for Giveaway Day, but I’m ready and excited!
If this is your first time here, welcome! Poke around and see if you can find a tutorial you might like to try or a little crafty inspiration.
For those who regularly read, you know how much I love ya, but you can never say thank you enough! THANK YOU for coming here and encouraging me with your comments and giving me inspiration!
On to the fun stuff…
I had a lot of fun participating in the Goodie Bag Swap, so I thought you might like to win a Goodie Bag for yourself!?
You have a chance to win this Noodlehead Go Anywhere Bag that I made, stuffed full of goodies. I left a few of the goodies out of the bag for the picture, because part of the fun is the surprise!
This is my favorite time of year, and I absolutely LOVE to give gifts. I can’t wait to give this to one of you!
If you’d like to be entered, just leave me a comment telling me what’s on your Christmas wishlist this year.
Giveaway is open to International readers too and will remain open until 8pm est on Friday, Dec 16th. Winner will be selected by random.org and I will post shortly after the close!
That’s it, good luck!
