I shared this pattern with you a few days ago and I just couldn’t resist buying it myself.
(and then I proceeded to ignore the important things on my to-do list so that I could sew it!)

My little girl is 4 and she loves art.
If there is a piece of paper to be found, 99% of the time she has written her name on it along with a portrait of her family.

I love that she is always creating, but the downside is that there are crayons, paints, markers and pieces of paper ALL over the house.
(Which kinda drives me batty!)
I knew when I saw this little tote that I had to make it. It seriously holds everything she needs and it’s sturdy enough that it won’t topple over and spill out the contents.
LOVE it!

The pattern goes together easily and is very well written.
My biggest challenge was trying to wrestle it so that I could topstitch around the top of the bag. The sides have super extra heavy duty interfacing that bends, but not very much and I was trying to zoom through it.
Hello Lindsey, meet Patience.
When I went slowly it was just fine.

I want to enlarge it a bit and make one for myself. I think it would be awesome for carrying all of your sewing tools if you have a sew-in or retreat to go to.

She found it on the table this morning and yelled ‘Moooom, did you make this bag for meeeee??!!’ Then she gave me a big bear hug.
I’ll take that as approval!
xo, Lindsey
