Well, hello there! *waves*
It’s been awhile, huh?
Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving and I guess Halloween too?! I’ve been spending more time with my family and it feels good to have taken a little break.
Glad to be back though with something crafty to share!
I signed up for the Goodie Bag Swap this round and this is the bag I made for my secret partner. I am not a big fan of orange, but I really wanted to keep this little bag!

This is the Keyka Lou Messenger Bag and it’s a great pattern. Lots of fun details and room to add your own personal touch. My partner loves orange and linen so I made the bag from a charcoal linen and did a patchwork flap for the front.

The pattern calls for webbing for the strap, but I liked the idea of using the linen with contrast stitching.

For a small bag, it really has a lot of pockets and I added a key fob too that can be tucked into the front slip pocket.

I topped it off with a vintage button and sent it out the door. Hope my secret partner loves it!

I just realized that it’s the last few days of the annual pattern sale at Keyka Lou. If you’ve wanted to try out her patterns, now is the time! All patterns are $5 each until 11/27. Click on the picture below if you’d like to check them out.

xo,
Lindsey
