The day is here, hooray!
I am so excited (and a little nervous!) to be able to share this tutorial with you. Thank you so much to those who encouraged me and have given such sweet comments about this quilt.
I hope you enjoy it!
If you are still interested in doing a Quilt Along together, please let me know in the comments.
Lindsey
Congratulations on your quilt at MBS! I love it!
I think a QAL is a great idea!
Thank you Gill for your input on the QAL and your sweet words!!

Well done – this is a beauty!
I’ll ponder the QAL, but this is on my to do list x
Thank you Hadley!
So excited to have you as a part of the Bake Shop!! This quilt is beautiful and love that it was donated to such a special cause 🙂 Thanks for being so patient with the fabric.
Thank you so much Jenny for the opportunity and for helping me get things straightened out, I appreciate it!
Yea Lindsey! It’s beautiful and such an awesome design. So happy for you and well-deserved.
xo
eek! Thank you Jenn, especially for talking me down a couple of times, lol!
Your quilt is so fun and pretty, makes me want to stitch one up today!
Thank you so much Letty!
I’m so glad this is a MBS project! I was going to try to figure out how you made your quilt–now I don’t have to! I need to make one post haste! It’s beautiful. Is there any way you could include a note on the tutorial that you donated the quilt to 100 Quilts for Kids? That would be such an incredible publicity boost for 100 Quilts. 🙂
Thank you Kate!! I emailed to see if it was okay for me to add on a button for QFK! I thought of that when I posted it and wasn’t sure. Great idea!!
Lindsay, Welcome to he Moda Bake shop. Your projefct is super cute. I am going to have to add that one to my list. So super cute! Thanks for choosing moda,
modaliisa
Thank you Lissa for the opportunity to share at the MBS!

A QAL,will be welcome.Thanks so much
Thank you so much Rosa!
Congratulations! I would love a QAL but I might not be able to keep up! LOL I am very limited on my sewing time for the time being. But I can try if you do go ahead with it!
Thank you Kelly! I think you’ll be surprised how easy this quilt is and of course no rush! Sew when you can!
I just had to come over from Moda Bakeshop to tell you how awesome this quilt is. I would consider following a quilt along but possibly in a few months from now.
Thank you so much for stopping by Vicki and for your input on the QAL!
Congratulations! The quilt is lovely.
I’m not sure about my applique skills (ok, rather I’m sure they are non-existent) so a QAL could be a great way to learn.
Thank you! You can totally applique, you can even just straight stitch and once you quilt all over it will be perfect.
Love, love, love your quilt, congratulations
Thank you Jan!
Congrats!
I love the quilt and your tutorial was great and easy to understand.
I think I’m going to have to make this one.
Thanks for sharing!
Debbie
Thank you so much Debbie!
Beautiful work – love it!
I already strarted it. I cut all the pieces yesterday and are getting the solid fabric after work today. I was quick to jump on the wagon because I had a load of squares I had plan to use for flying geese but somehow I went a little cold on that project (!). Your templates was perfect size and the quilt just seemed to fit my mood yesterday perfect. I’m doing a 6×6 and it will be perfect for my niece I think. Beautiful, fun and spunky 🙂 No picture on my blog yet though – will update it later.
Yay, I can’t wait to see it!!
Love the quilt but how do I find the Printer Friendly version with the templates?
The link is at the very bottom of the post, here it is for you! http://www.unitednotions.com/MBS-mod-circles-appliqued-baby-quilt.pdf
Found you from Modern Day Quilts. This is a great, clean quilt. I would love a QAL!!!
Thank you Julie! I will keep you posted on the QAL.
This is really lovely but I much prefer THESE fabrics over the ones featured on the Moda website quilt.
A quilt along would be great; also can you give yardages required for larger versions? (I can figure out how big to make it and how many circles but somehow not the fabric I would need).
Thanks so much.
NIcole
Thank you Nicole! Yes, I will figure out fabric for a larger version when the QAL starts!
LOVE this quilt. Can you tell me where I can get the instructions. I’d love to make this for my grandchild. Thanks.
