Boy quilt in progress, a new wallet

I managed to get the boys Dream quilt working like originally planned.  Hooray!

I have 2 more spaces to fill in with smaller squares and then piecing everything together.     What do you think, too busy?

I also finished a new wallet today and listed it in the shop.

Ahh… I love Anna Maria Horner.   Do you have a favorite fabric designer?

I really like the boy quilt, and I know they are harder to make than girly quilts. The only thing that looks busy to me are the smaller print at center top (outside the black square) and the smaller print at right bottom (outside the bright blue square)ReplyCancel

I think the boy quilt looks great- very modern. LOVE the little glasses in the middle.
And you know I totally dig this wallet. Ahhh, inspiring me once again and hopefully my round two with my wallet attempt will be better. Actually I want it to look just like this one.
And yes, AMH is my favorite designer. Plus I am still hoarding those precious scraps you gave me last year – still have a scrap quilt in mind. I did break into some of them for my HST quilt and love finding Lindsey scraps in there! 🙂ReplyCancel
