Handmade Holiday :: Santa Pillow

Can you believe it’s only 4 days until Christmas!?

I’m honestly in a bit of shock about that!    I took a break from business sewing in December this year, and that was the best thing I’ve ever done.    This month has flown by stress free and I’ve had time to really enjoy crafting for my own home and spending time with my family.

I wanted to share the Holiday projects I’ve been working on over the next few days.

Up first, is my Santa Pillow.

I found an adorable Santa pillow through Pinterest and knew I could make one myself.    After finding the image I wanted, I used my Silhouette to cut a stencil.

My little girl picked out ‘sparkly’ red paint for us and we stenciled it onto natural linen.

I originally planned to just have a plain linen pillow, but I decided patchwork was more fun.    I love how cheerful it turned out and it goes perfectly with the ‘candy cane’ ticking pillow I made last year.

Have you made anything special for the Holiday’s this year?

  • So cute!!! Would you consider selling some of the Santa stencils? I’d love to buy one from you already made, exactly like this one. Then I can make my own pillow or other decoration from it. Let me know! 🙂ReplyCancel

    So cute Linds! I love the patchwork and the Santa is perfectly jolly. I made a table runner that we are going to use for our Christmas Eve dinner. 🙂 Merry Christmas to you my friend!ReplyCancel
