Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012!

I know my recap is a wee bit late, but I’ve had the flu.  Ick!

Happy New Year first off!  Can you believe it’s 2012!?   This last year flew by crazy fast.

Here’s a creative look back at 2011:

I jumped into the world of online quilting bees and made tons of blocks!  I loved participating and the chance to try new block designs without having to make a whole quilt.

I finished 8 quilts in 2011.    I tackled my first bed-sized quilt, participated in 2 challenges and had my first Moda Bake Shop design tutorial published.

I had a few non-quilty finishes too and have been bitten by the handbag bug!

I sent  my firstborn to Kindergarten and my youngest to preschool and have really just enjoyed this new season of our lives.   2011 has been a blessed year.

I am so thankful for the gift of creativity.   For each one of you that come here to read and who encourage me with your comments and emails.

Blogging has provided opportunities and inspiration beyond what I could have imagined.   I have been able to connect with so many fun and creative people who have become dear friends and I am so excited for what 2012 has to offer!

Cheers to you!  May 2012 be full of health, happiness and lots of fabric! 😉

xo Lindsey
