Finally getting around to sharing this bag!
My little girl requested a 241 tote for Christmas, just like Mama’s. I love that she chose handmade over a store bought princess purse, my heart totally melted!
She loves purple and I thought the bright dots were spunky just like her. Glad to report she loves it!
Here’s a comparison with a full-size 241 tote, I printed the pattern out at 75% to make the mini version.
On a different note, have you ever made rainbow cupcakes? I decided to give them a try yesterday to go with pizza night. They are SO fun to eat but, quite honestly, a pain to make! Here’s the directions I used, Rainbow Cupcakes.
The best part was the frosting! Lately buttercream has just tasted way to sweet for me, so I made Cool Whip frosting. Oh my. Amazingly delicious. Seriously like a dreamy cloud.
Cool Whip Frosting:
1 cup cold milk
1 package cheesecake pudding mix
1/4 cup powdered sugar
8 oz tub cool whip
Whisk the first 3 ingredients for 2 minutes or until pudding mix thickens. Fold in completely thawed tub of Cool Whip. Keep frosted items in fridge for up to a week. (They won’t last that long!)
Off to eat another!

I’ve made those cupcakes twice. Both times while making them I thought “There is no way I am doing this again” and then when they came out the response was “oooh… SO CUTE!”
Me exactly! Now that they’re gone I’m thinking, aw those were fun. ha!
Gosh those look yummy and adorable. Cool Whip frosting sounds fab too! Sorry they weren’t much fun to make. Glad that eating them makes up for it.

The little tote is adorable. I am always drawn to your fabric combos! Great eye. I love all crafting, but baking is my bread and butter 😉 I must say, you make a pretty mean rainbow cupcake! It’s beautiful!
