You all rocked the zip organizers last week!!!
Excuse the massive mosaic, but I had to squeeze all I could find in the flickr group.
(If I missed yours, it was not on purpose!)
This was a challenging project, and I thought maybe 5 or so people would complete it.
Wha? More like 28, woot!
And the fabric choices! I kept saying to myself, ooh I want one like that, and that and that and that….
So out of 28 entries, random.org chose the winner for the Lecien Cosmo sampler kit and it’s #22, Marian. Congratulations!
Thank you so much to Lecien for you generosity!

This weeks project is an adorable zipper pouch designed by Amanda Jennings.
Elizabeth from Don’t Call Me Betsy is our blogger for this project and I love her little pouch. Especially the lining fabric!
She has given some great advice on sewing this pouch up, so be sure to head over and check out her post.
Take a peek at her tutorials and patterns while you’re there, she has LOTS of inspiring things on her blog!

I’ll be back a little later today with a new sponsor and a giveaway!
Have fun this week, Lindsey
P.S. Don’t forget next Sunday is Father’s Day! Are you making anything handmade for Father’s Day??
P.S.S. The Summer Sewing contest is open for project entries!
All those organizers are oh so special! Difficult but so much fun to make.
Yes, I entered tow of my projects in the Summer Sewing contest. Thought they fit in nicely (o:
I notice you said that the pictures in the mosaic were all from Flickr – does this mean that those of us who don’t use Flickr but are blogging our projects each week are not being included?
The Lecien Cosmo sampler kit is such a wonderful giveaway and I’m thrilled to be the lucky winner! I see more Sachiko stitching in my future!
Thank you, Lecien, both for the beautiful thread and for your generous sponsorship of the Sew Along. Lindsey, thank you, too, for creating it, selecting the bloggers and guiding us each week.
Lindsey,
I just wanted to make sure I wouldn’t be disqualified for this week because I didn’t add hexi’s but a zig zag instead? if so i’ll go ahead and make another with hexi’s 🙂
Danielle
absolutely fine!
The pouch by marymoon stitches is adorable! Totally kawaii fabric and zipper fob too. Inspiring!
