The day is here, hooray!

I am so excited (and a little nervous!)  to be able to share this tutorial with you.   Thank you so much to those who encouraged me and have given such sweet comments about this quilt.

I hope you enjoy it!

So excited to have you as a part of the Bake Shop!! This quilt is beautiful and love that it was donated to such a special cause 🙂 Thanks for being so patient with the fabric.ReplyCancel

    • eek! Thank you Jenn, especially for talking me down a couple of times, lol!ReplyCancel

  • Your quilt is so fun and pretty, makes me want to stitch one up today!ReplyCancel

  • I’m so glad this is a MBS project! I was going to try to figure out how you made your quilt–now I don’t have to! I need to make one post haste! It’s beautiful. Is there any way you could include a note on the tutorial that you donated the quilt to 100 Quilts for Kids? That would be such an incredible publicity boost for 100 Quilts. 🙂ReplyCancel

    • Thank you Kate!! I emailed to see if it was okay for me to add on a button for QFK! I thought of that when I posted it and wasn’t sure. Great idea!!ReplyCancel

Congratulations! I would love a QAL but I might not be able to keep up! LOL I am very limited on my sewing time for the time being. But I can try if you do go ahead with it!ReplyCancel

    • Thank you Kelly! I think you’ll be surprised how easy this quilt is and of course no rush! Sew when you can!ReplyCancel

I just had to come over from Moda Bakeshop to tell you how awesome this quilt is. I would consider following a quilt along but possibly in a few months from now.ReplyCancel

  • Congratulations! The quilt is lovely.
I’m not sure about my applique skills (ok, rather I’m sure they are non-existent) so a QAL could be a great way to learn.ReplyCancel

    • Thank you! You can totally applique, you can even just straight stitch and once you quilt all over it will be perfect.ReplyCancel

  • Love, love, love your quilt, congratulationsReplyCancel

  • Congrats!
I love the quilt and your tutorial was great and easy to understand.
I think I’m going to have to make this one.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Beautiful work – love it!ReplyCancel

  • I already strarted it. I cut all the pieces yesterday and are getting the solid fabric after work today. I was quick to jump on the wagon because I had a load of squares I had plan to use for flying geese but somehow I went a little cold on that project (!). Your templates was perfect size and the quilt just seemed to fit my mood yesterday perfect. I’m doing a 6×6 and it will be perfect for my niece I think. Beautiful, fun and spunky 🙂 No picture on my blog yet though – will update it later.ReplyCancel

Love the quilt but how do I find the Printer Friendly version with the templates?ReplyCancel

  • Julie

Found you from Modern Day Quilts. This is a great, clean quilt. I would love a QAL!!!ReplyCancel

This is really lovely but I much prefer THESE fabrics over the ones featured on the Moda website quilt.

A quilt along would be great; also can you give yardages required for larger versions? (I can figure out how big to make it and how many circles but somehow not the fabric I would need).

    Thanks so much.

    • Thank you Nicole! Yes, I will figure out fabric for a larger version when the QAL starts!
