I’m excited to have a finish to share today!
Every month Sew Mama Sew sends out a call for contributors through their newsletter. For the month of December it was a challenge to use Camille Roskelley’s aurifil thread pack to make a mini quilt.
These beauties arrived and my only requirement was to use at least 2-3 spools in my design.
Christmas is my favorite time of year so that was my focus for thread colors. As for design, I’ve been working on a new quilt pattern called Snow Star and this seemed like the perfect way to make a small sample. win, win!
This was my first time using contrasting thread for the quilting and it was a fun change from white. I was surprised at how much I liked the end result!
The Snow Star pattern will be available in January and includes several finished sizes.
Thank you SMS and Aurifil for the challenge!
xo, Lindsey
