September was my chance to work on the quilt for Susannah Kate.

SK chose beautiful colors for her quilt. Ice Blue, Coral, Mustardy yellow, grays and low volume prints.
I really enjoyed the laid back approach to this quilt. I just measured and pieced without thinking. Pure joy!
Since I’m the 4th out of 7 people to work on the quilt, I felt like I needed to help increase the size a little bit.
I added a top and side strip by randomly piecing strips together.

I had a serendipitous moment when I spotted this circle 7 in some fabric I’d pulled from my stash.
Perfect!

Dana’s quilt has arrived and is up on my wall. I have some words to piece for this one. Can’t wait to share!

Your part looks fabulous- super cute with the Circle 7 in there. And I so wanted to snag those eyeglasses for myself. I had a hard time putting those back in the bag! I MUST order some for me.
Wonderful work my friend!
