I discovered this recipe on Pinterest and oh.my.gosh.   These little bites taste just like the mall pretzels. I made the dough in the bread machine while the kids were at school and then we made them for snack when we got home.    To make cinnamon sugar ones I just brushed the bites in butter and […]

I have completed TWO quilts this week and both of them I can’t share.   How much of a bummer is that!?! I figure if I can’t share, at least I can record that I did something this week. So, here’s what’s happening and what’s lacking in my sewing room: COMPLETED:  Bake Shop Tutorial Quilt for […]

    Are your superwoman?ReplyCancel

    • Most definitely not, ha! On weeks when a lot is sewn, you may not be able to find any clean clothes… oops.ReplyCancel

  • The beach quilt is gonna be awesome! I like the blocks a LOT. The bag is also quite pretty. Saw a bolt of the floral DS print on sale at joanns the other day and had to use all my might not to buy any. It was hard but I managed to stick to my “no impulse buys” plan, I went for a seam ripper and that’s all I left with, lol.ReplyCancel

    • Thank you Krista, I can’t wait to get it done and start using it! You need to share more of this ‘no impulse plan’. How do you resist!? I can’t even go in the fabric section anymore unless I’m there for something specific b/c I always end up buying something. Especially when I have a coupon…. it’s only 1 yard…. it’s on sale…. etc.ReplyCancel

  • Wow! I can’t wait for that bakeshop tutorial! Looks wonderful 🙂ReplyCancel

  • fun stuff girl! and can’t wait to see your bakeshop tute! oh and the two quilts that you can’t share, very intriguing. 🙂ReplyCancel

    • Thank you, I’m getting kind of nervous! I’m excited to share the hidden two.ReplyCancel

  • i am pretty much in love with that bag. so cute!ReplyCancel

  • nicole

  • love that bag, it’s just gorgeousReplyCancel

First off, I love this bag.  LOVE! I was very excited when Anna asked me if I would like to test her new bag pattern.    I’ve made a few of her tutorials and the 241 tote and I knew I would love anything new she was creating.   She  definitely didn’t disappoint! It’s a decent […]

  • OMG that is so spooky, I was planning the cutting for my 241 with Ruby Star Spring this evening, and trying to work out how to incorporate the selvedge – thank you, thank you, thank you – consider yourself ‘pinned’!! xReplyCancel

    • Oh, Ruby Spring, that will be a gorgeous bag! Glad this will work for you!

Thanks for this Lindsey. I have yet to make a 241 tote but one day I will and this will be great for that plus others! Love everything you do girl! 🙂

  • that is awesome!!! I’ve never used fabric glue and then sewn through it. It doesn’t gum up your needle?
I just got Anna’s new pattern and am planning on making it with the new heather ross (yes, I am a grown woman but I still love those whimsical characters :). the selvages have apples on them so I may have to do this!!! thanks so much for the tute!ReplyCancel

    • Thank you! I use fabric glue a lot and I haven’t had any issues. If you did find it gummed your needle you could set the project aside for a few hours to dry thoroughly. And, no shame with loving whimsical characters, I am right there with you!! Share when you finish bag, I’d love to see it!ReplyCancel

  • I’m selvage-obsessed so of course this got “pinned.” I’m happy to learn about the glue, too.ReplyCancel

  • I should have stock in that glue I use it so much! I saw Amy’s handles and had to hop over and see how you did that. That will be next on my list!
    super cute idea…ReplyCancel

    • Oh, me too, I love this glue! Handy for so many things. Thank you Jeannie!ReplyCancel

  • Wendy

Awesome idea! What is that yummy green floral fabric in the next to last pic?ReplyCancel

My baby girl had her first day of preschool yesterday.  I have never seen a child more excited to grow up! On the way to drop her off she said ‘You’re gonna drop me off right? And not stay?  I can stay by myself, cause I’m a big girl?’. Yes, baby.  You’re a big girl […]
